I am a penultimate year Geography Major at NUS with interest in nature-society relations. Nature-society relations piqued my interest when I observed human interactions with wildlife daily while working at the Singapore Zoo. This drove me to seek out a better understanding of how we can better reconnect people with nature. For my thesis, I explored how Punggol residents interact with nature in their neighbourhood spaces guided by Singapore’s vision to create a Biophilic City.
I also started GreenLoopFarms, an indoor farm, with a couple of close friends. GreenLoopFarms aims to bring fresh and nutritious vegetables to more Singaporeans while reconnecting people to their food. In addition, we strive to be as sustainable as possible by regenerating our waste into vermicompost.
